Brandenburg meets India M+V Altios - Maier Vidorno Altios India

22nd September 2021 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM (IST)

Germany’s Capital Region is situated in the Federal State of Brandenburg. The state is well known for its successful transformation from a traditional industrial site in former socialist East Germany to a High-Tech business location being home to world-leading companies such as ArcelorMittal, Tesla, Rolls-Royce and BASF. Albert Einstein worked here and 34 Nobel Prize winners are from this state. No other region in Germany has a higher density of scientific research institutions. Today, Brandenburg is again transforming itself in many ways: from a coal mining area to an economy based on Renewable Energy, serving rising sectors such as E-Mobility and hydrogen. Europe’s oldest film production park in Potsdam-Babelsberg is now Germany’s Media Tech Hub heading for new targets such as virtual reality. More than 220 years ago, Brandenburg birthed the modern optical industry. Today, it is home to state-of-the-art laser technology.
