As a service technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of technical systems and devices at our customers’ premises. You make a significant contribution to customer satisfaction and the operational safety of our products

Tasks and responsibilities
• Commissioning, maintenance and servicing of Agathon periphery grinding machines and systems on site at the customer’s premises in India, South Korea, Japan, Thailand
• Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic, software)
• Carrying out inspections, upgrades and conversions
• Repair of machines at the customer’s premises
• Documentation of assignments and preparation of service reports
• Training of maintenance personnel at the customer’s premises
Technical background
• Degree in mechatronics, industrial mechanics, electronics or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the maintenance of machines and systems
• Solid knowledge of mechanics, electrical engineering, hydraulic systems
• Reading and understanding technical drawings, circuit- and hydraulic diagrams
• Experience with CNC machines or special machines is an advantage
• Profound IT skills (MS Office, SAP and CRM)
Personal requirements
• Place of work: at customers in India and sometimes abroad in the ASEAN area
• Absence from home: 100% willingness to travel, generally 2 – 5 days per week; outside India up to 3 weeks possible (without interruption)
• Working hours: full-time position
• Driving licence necessary
• Age: 30 – 45 years old
• Languages: Indian, English (verbally and in writing)
