Summary of Position: substantial / major Tasks:
• Principle purpose of the job is execution and delivery of NPI Products within defined timeline and make sure no issues from their respective areas.
• Take over assigned projects from NPI Manager with heavy modification and bring to HVM.
• Approach: plant dependant & location specific, product development, shop floor focus & execution. Major Tasks / Activities (What the position does):
• Responsible for industrialisation of New Products and deliver as per the defined timeline.
• Provide feasibility studies of new concepts and ideas for capability improvement.
• Documenting the NPI project activities to identify any roadblock in qualification and HVM from their respective areas.
• Identifying process quality issues if any during qualification project execution and work on root cause analysis and solution.
• Monitoring the yield performance of new products along with Product Engineering, Quality & Production Teams and work on yield improvement stabilisation.
• Build communication and Work closely in a cross function team and international working environment.
• Provide suggestions to senior management for future investment decisions.
• Guide Specialists & Jr. Specialists on decision making and stakeholder management.

Type of required functional knowledge (depth, breadth):
• Bachelor’s Degree from higher technical college or university preferably in Chemistry engineering background.
• Computer skills – MS Office Package (Word, Excel), SAP, etc.
• Good analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Statistical analysis knowledge.
• Good team player and team leader, Integrated and interdisciplinary thinking and acting
• Good communication skills.
Type and length of experience required for the position:
3 – 5 years of experience in/as Engineer / Executive in PCB or any related industry
Further skills and competencies required:
• 3 to 5 years work experience in the PCB or electronics manufacturing industry
• Excellent leadership, communication and influential skills on employees to achieve objectives with a team approach
• Good knowledge/ understanding of the PCB and EMS market and supplier base is preferred.
• Willingness to work in international working environment.
• Excellent English skills, oral and written. Further Responsibilities: Work prioritization and stress management skill is essential to fulfil the requirements
