– Strong knowledge of machine safety standards and functional safety principles.
– Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and automation architectures.
– Hands-on experience with industrial automation systems and safety devices.
– Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills. -Ability to balance technical depth with commercial awareness.
– Experience with safety PLCs, safety relays, vision safety, and guarding systems.
– Functional safety certification (e.g., TÜV, CMSE, or equivalent).
Job description
– Perform machine and process risk assessments in accordance with ISO 12100 and related standards.
– Develop, propose, and review machine safety concepts and safeguarding solutions tailored to customer applications.
– Define and verify safety functions, including determining required Performance Levels (PLr).
– Review electrical, control system, and automation designs from a safety perspective.
– Support installation, commissioning, testing, and validation of safety systems.
– Prepare comprehensive technical documentation (Risk Assessments, SRS, validation reports).
