Position Summary

The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for providing end-to-end technical support and infrastructure management for both local and global offices. The role includes managing user support, overseeing offshore IT operations, ensuring compliance with IT policies, and coordinating with international teams for seamless service delivery across regions. This is a senior technical position requiring a proactive individual with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft 365, network administration, cybersecurity practices, and remote user support.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

TASKS –

– Provide comprehensive IT support to users in India and across global offices (Europe, APAC, Americas).
– Manage user onboarding/offboarding, email configuration, and license allocation in Microsoft 365 and Azure AD.
– Oversee endpoint management, Intune compliance, and security configurations.
– Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and VPN issues both onsite and remotely.
– Administer Office 365, OneDrive, and SharePoint environments, including permission and policy management.
– Support ERP users (SAP Business One) and coordinate with the
– ERP team for issue resolution.
– Manage incident, change, and service request processes through the IT ticketing tool.
– Coordinate with vendors and global IT teams for infrastructure setup, procurement, and escalations.
– Maintain asset inventory, IT documentation, and compliance reports.
– Ensure cybersecurity standards are followed, including MFA, encryption, and data protection measures.
– Participate in IT projects, system migrations, and cloud integrations for international offices.

Required Skills & Qualifications: –

Experience: 5–8 years of relevant IT support experience, including offshore or global user support.

– Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune administration
– Windows Server & Active Directory management
– Network troubleshooting (LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi)
– Endpoint protection tools (Sophos, Defender, etc.)
– ERP systems exposure (preferably SAP B1) SQL Server
– Ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Zoho Desk, Jira, or equivalent)
– Strong troubleshooting, coordination, and communication skills (English proficiency required).
– Ability to work across time zones and handle remote support efficiently.

Preferred Certifications

– Microsoft 365 / Azure Administrator Certification
– ITIL Foundation
– Security+ or CEH (preferred for cybersecurity exposure)

Work Conditions

This role requires flexibility to work in a rotational shift environment, supporting global users across different time zones (Europe, APAC, and North America).
