Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation & Control, Robotics/Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Experience
15+ Years’ working experience
Desired skills
– Strong background in control systems, mechatronics, embedded electronics and system integration, with practical experience in motor control, sensor fusion and real-time embedded systems. Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink and model-based control development is highly desirable.
Job description
– Own the complete design and delivery of Pan-Tilt Units and related motion systems, including system architecture, technical
documentation, validation and product release. Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams comprising embedded software, electronics and PCB design engineers while coordinating closely with Mechanical Engineering.
– Develop high-performance motion control systems, including motor controllers, system controllers and real-time control software. Apply modern control techniques such as PID, LQR, Model Predictive Control (MPC) and Kalman filtering to achieve precise stabilization, disturbance rejection and target tracking.
– Lead the integration of IMUs, GNSS, digital compasses, accelerometers, electro-optic payloads, thermal imagers, laser rangefinders, radar and LiDAR inputs into robust sensor-fusion architectures for precision pointing and tracking.
