–Â Technical expertise:10+ years of experience within a technical and/or production environment with deep knowledge of PCB fabrication, assembly processes (like SMT and wave soldering), and quality standards (like IPC-A-610).
–Â Management skills:Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, manage projects, and communicate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
–Â Analytical skills:Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, and DOE, Expertise in root cause analysis, statistical process control (SPC), and other data-driven problem-solving methods.
Job description
–Â A PCB (Printed Circuit Board) manufacturing process engineering manager isa senior leader responsible for overseeingand optimizing all aspects of the PCB manufacturing process & lead a team of engineers to ensure high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective production.
–Â Crucial in bridging engineering, production, and quality assurance to produce high quality products through equipment, process controls and continuous improvement.
–Â Ensure all manufacturing processes and documentation are compliant with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality certifications (e.g., IPC, ISO 9001).
–Â Analyze production data using statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools to drive process improvements.
– Ensures that structured problem-solving techniques are used, and that a dequate validation is performed for any issues being address or changes being made.
–Â Implement robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address the root causes of process deviations and quality issues.
–Â Conduct equipment and material evaluations for new process applications.
–Â Create and maintain all process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and control plans.
