ABOUT THE ROLE
The Manufacturing Head / Factory Head will oversee all manufacturing operations at the Ballabgarh plant, ensuring efficient production processes, quality control, safety, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. This role demands deep technical knowledge in manufacturing and proven leadership to manage cross-functional teams, streamline operations, and drive continuous improvement.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead and manage daily operations of the manufacturing facility, including production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain.
• Develop and execute production plans to meet customer demand and delivery schedules.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Optimize resource utilization (manpower, machinery, material) to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Monitor and control operational budgets, production targets, and KPIs.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and other process improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with R&D, sales, and procurement for new product introductions and capacity planning.
• Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance of plant machinery and infrastructure.
• Maintain statutory compliance related to labor laws, environmental norms, and industrial regulations.
• Lead and mentor factory teams, fostering a performance-driven culture.
• Collaborate with senior management to support strategic business goals and expansion plans.
Key Requirements:
• B. Tech / BE in Mechanical / Metallurgy / Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of manufacturing experience in fabrication (e.g., sheet metal, casting, forging, CNC, welding, etc).
• Strong understanding of production technologies, plant layout planning, and automation.
• Proven leadership in managing large factory setups and multidisciplinary teams.
• Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and manufacturing software.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving
Preferred Skills:
• Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt)
• Exposure to Industry 4.0 practices
• Experience working with multinational or large-scale metal manufacturing firms.
