For MV-Altios in Vadodara (Gujarat – India)
The Sales Manager will play a key role in customer acquisition, sales execution, and also in supporting the operational and administrative ramp-up of the subsidiary (import/export setup, local partnerships, office routines). This hybrid role requires a technically competent and entrepreneurial profile, capable of navigating sales discussions with customers while supporting creation of a functional local organization.

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or technical business development in the industrial gas, cryogenics, or rotating equipment sector

Fluent in English & Hindi

Job description
– You will manage existing customer accounts and acquire new customers.
– Promote direct and indirect sales of cryogenic pumps across India
– Identify and grow relationships with industrial gas companies, EPC’s, and key end-users
– Visit customers regularly to present solutions, gather feedback, and ensure strong technical-commercial alignment.
– Represent at trade fairs, technical events, and industry forums.
– Prepare technical-commercial proposals in collaboration with HQ
– Manage project follow-up: from quotation to delivery, invoicing, and aftersales
– Support the ongoing setup of India: contribute to establishing internal routines and workflows
– Help coordinate import/export operations in alignment with Swiss HQ (customs, logistics, documentation)
– Build relationships with local service providers (freight forwarders, customs agents, etc.)
– Assist with financial and administrative tasks (local invoicing, supplier follow-up, basic reporting)
– Act as local contact point for all operational matters and collaborate closely with HQ.
