ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Clinical Manager to lead the clinical application team and execute our clinical strategy and activities across India. This exciting role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the revenue growth through pre- and post-sale clinical activities, driving clinical education and ensuring the clinical adoption of our products and features across India. The Manager will be part of the Clinical Applications Team and report to the Country General India, with dotted line reporting to the Global Clinical Concepts Team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the team of Clinical Application Specialists in India, providing direction, mentorship, and performance evaluation.
• Manage onboarding, certification, and ongoing education of new Clinical Application Specialists.
• Collaborate with the India Sales Manager, Marketing Manager and Country Manager to align clinical activities with commercial goals.
• Provide input on hiring, training, and professional development of the clinical team.
• Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality clinical support with emphasis on India-specific critical care practices.
• Plan and allocate resources efficiently for customer support, travel, and training programs.
• Ensure all team members are trained and certified on our Medical products, software, and solutions.
• Facilitate training workshops, conferences, and academic partnerships with Indian medical institutions.
• Provide technical and clinical expertise to customers, addressing escalations and resolving clinical challenges.
• Maintain close engagement with Indian medical societies, thought leaders, and regulatory stakeholders.
• Prepare and share reports on team performance, clinical adoption trends, and customer feedback.
• Uphold our brand standards and ensure professional representation in all customer interactions.

Required Skills and Professional Competencies
• Master’s degree in Respiratory therapy, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within healthcare or the medical device industry.
• Proven leadership experience in managing and mentoring clinical teams.
• Strong clinical background in critical care/ICU environments in India.
• Hands-on experience in medical device training, application support, and customer education.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with CRM systems (D365) is an advantage.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the Indian healthcare ecosystem.
• Ability to work effectively across India’s diverse cultural and linguistic regions.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India (including multi-day trips)

Organizational relationships
Reporting to the Country Manager India, the Manager will collaborate closely with the India Sales Team, marketing Team, and Global Clinical Concepts Team to optimize customer experience, maximize clinical adoption, and drive sustainable market growth in India
