SHRIYANS JAIN, currently Managing Director at Viega India Pvt. Ltd. in Ahmedabad (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Viega GmbH & Co. KG), is responsible for Corporate HR, Corporate Finance, Operations, Supply Chain and Product Management/Development for Viega in India. Previously, JAIN led the development of Viega’s greenfield manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad, which initially met only local demand, but later quickly evolved into an export hub for Central Europe, the Middle East, Russia and Australia/New Zealand.
In the past, JAIN spent 11 years with Kohler Co. in the U.S. and India on overseas assignments. During that time, he helped Kohler enter the Indian market and established the company’s local operational presence.
SHAVIKESH GOEL has a professional career of more than 22 years as a management and business consultant at M+V Altios. During this time, he was not only responsible for marketing and international business development, but for many years his main area of responsibility was the coordination and implementation of production facilities in India. GOEL has hands-on experience with the difficulties and challenges companies face in this context. With this wealth of experience in the Indian manufacturing and service industries, he is a proven expert in the successful market-entry and market expansion of foreign companies in India.
MAARTEN VAN DER SCHAAF, director and co-founder of IndiaConnected, helps Dutch companies become successful in India. VAN DER SCHAAF graduated from the University of Amsterdam with a Master’s degree in International Relations and Journalism. Earlier in his career, he worked as a correspondent in India for several years, covering a wide range of topics, including Indian business, politics, culture, sports and religion.
