The India Exhibitions/Trade Shows industry is estimated at approximately Euro 8.1 billion with over 700 major Trade Shows taking place every year. The industry is seeing a growth rate of about 12% annually supported by the government’s activities to improve ease of doing business in India and help international businesses establish and grow in the country.

Deloitte has been mandated by the European Commission to implement the Overseas Trade Fairs participation Programme. This 2 year programme aims at supporting the participation of European SMEs to major international trade fairs around the world. A delegation of 15 SMEs will be attending the Electronica & Productronica trade fair in Bangalore, India on 26-28 September 2018. As part of the mentoring services offered to SMEs, Maier+Vidorno’s India business expert Mr. Thomas Breitinger will conduct a workshop on ‘Sales approach at trade fairs in India’.

The workshop will give SMEs valuable insights on the different Electronics Industry trade fairs in India and strategies for effective sales at these trade fairs.
